Rivian wanted to have non-company drivers test their pickup truck for the first time and chose the most difficult conditions they could think of to do so: a 10 day off-road rally across California with two of the best drivers they could find. We joined from a distance (rally rules) and did our best to keep up as they navigated their way across unforgiving desert, vast dry lake beds, thick forests and a couple useless gas stations all with just a map and compass.
